Rebuttal — 'I already have an agent'
Don't fight the relationship. Plant a flag for next year.
Don't trigger reactance. Validate, then offer optionality. Most 'I have an agent' clients haven't heard from that agent in 18 months.
When you hear 'I have an agent' on any prospecting call.
Totally fair — and you should keep working with someone you trust. Quick question: when's the last time they sat down with you to compare your plan against what else is out there for next year? [Listen.] Look, I'm not asking you to switch agents. What I'll offer is this: I'll send you a one-page summary of the top 2-3 plans in your ZIP. You compare it to what your current agent shows you. If yours is best, you stay put. If mine looks better, we talk. Fair?
