1. Who We Serve
GoAEP is built for licensed insurance professionals — agents, agencies, and FMOs/IMOs — who need current, defensible educational material about Medicare distribution, technology, and AI. Nothing on GoAEP is intended as consumer-facing Medicare marketing.
2. Human Authorship
Every scenario, script, drill, and compliance-adjacent lesson on GoAEP is human-authored. We do not use generative AI to draft compliance content or objection handling. AI is limited to non-compliance surfaces (design assistance, code generation, illustrative imagery) and is always reviewed by a human before publication.
3. Source Citations
Reviewable content items carry at least one authoritative citation — typically the current CMS Medicare Communications & Marketing Guidelines (MCMG), the Code of Federal Regulations (42 CFR Part 422 / Part 423 / Subpart V), TCPA rules, or state Department of Insurance guidance. Citations link to the source so you can verify the underlying rule for yourself.
4. Review Cadence
Every reviewable item records the author, the reviewer, the date it was last reviewed, and the sources it relies on. Content is re-reviewed at least annually, and immediately whenever CMS issues new guidance, a rule changes, or a reader reports a factual concern.
5. The Review Team
Content is reviewed by the Lync editorial team, which collectively holds more than 25 years of licensed insurance experience — including active health, life, and property & casualty licenses, prior independent agency ownership, and nearly two decades in the Medicare distribution space. The team built GoAEP because it is the resource they wished they had while running their own agencies during AEP.
We do not publish individual reviewer names on public content. Reviewer identity is tracked internally on every item and is available on request from carriers, uplines, or regulators.
6. Corrections & Retractions
If you find something on GoAEP that appears inaccurate, out of date, or inconsistent with a current CMS rule, email support@notice.goaep.com with the subject line "Correction." We aim to acknowledge within five business days, and to correct, retract, or annotate the content as appropriate. When we retract, we leave a visible note explaining what changed and why.
7. What This Page Is Not
This page describes an editorial and review workflow. It is not a certification of compliance with any statute or regulation, an audit opinion, a legal opinion, or a warranty. Your own compliance with CMS, MCMG, TCPA, HIPAA, state licensing, and carrier rules remains your responsibility — see our Disclaimers for the full framing.
8. Objection Handling & Simulation
Where GoAEP offers objection-simulation tools, they are strictly evaluate-only: candidate responses are classified as compliant, defensible, non-compliant, or never-say. GoAEP does not publish a prescribed "right thing to say" to a Medicare beneficiary.
