1. Our Target Standard
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the W3C. This includes semantic HTML, keyboard operability, visible focus indicators, sufficient color contrast, alt text on meaningful imagery, and captions or transcripts on video where feasible.
2. Scope
This statement covers the public pages of goaep.com. Some embedded third-party experiences (for example, video players, form widgets, and scheduling tools) may not fully match our target and are updated as those vendors ship improvements.
3. Known Limitations
- A small number of legacy PDF downloads are not yet fully tagged for screen readers. We are re-generating these on a rolling basis.
- AI-generated illustrations may include decorative detail that is not conveyed in alt text.
- Live third-party embeds may not meet AA contrast in every state.
4. Assistive Technology Compatibility
GoAEP is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox) together with common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack). If a specific combination is not working for you, please tell us.
5. Report an Accessibility Issue
If any part of GoAEP is difficult or impossible for you to use, please email support@notice.goaep.com with the subject line "Accessibility." Include the page URL, the assistive technology or browser you were using, and a short description of what happened. We aim to acknowledge reports within five business days.
6. Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We audit changes as part of our normal review cycle (see our Editorial & Compliance Standards), and this statement is revisited at least annually.
7. No Legal Certification
This statement is a voluntary conformance report. It is not a legal certification, an audit result, or a warranty of any kind.
